Socks is a two and a half year old tomcat found as a stray kitten and adopted by Bill Clinton's daughter Chelsea. O'Donoghue was a founder of the National Lampoon and Saturday Night Live writer. Suares has written, illustrated, and designed numerous books including The Indispensable Cat, The Illustrated Cat, and the recent Black and White Cats.
