Discovering this betrayal, Henry banishes Suffolk, but with his Lord Protector gone the unworldly young King must face his greatest challenge: impending Civil War and the rising threat of the House of York.

He is the author of Shakespeare Criticism in the Twentieth Century and editor of Henry VI, Part One in the Oxford Shakespeare series. Norman Sanders is retired from the position of Professor of Shakespeare at the University of Tennessee. He has also edited Julius Caesar in the Penguin Shakespeare series.
