Heaven Upon Earth Résumé

Heaven Upon Earth: The Countryside Remembered Tom Quinn

Following the recent discovery of a treasure trove of original photographs by John Tarlton, the author Tom Quinn has collated the collection into a fascinating and nostalgic tour of the English countryside from the turn of the last century through to the late 1950s. These previously unpublished photographs capture the peace and tranquillity of country life and chronicle the lives of the rural community at that time. These beautiful images impart a feeling of "Heaven upon Earth" and with the author's full descriptive text this book will become a unique record of a bygone era.
