The Australian Women's Weekly magazine has been showing readers how to make birthday cakes for kids since the 1950s. The first cookbook we did The Children's Birthday Cake Book (affectionately known as the book with the train on the cover') was published in 1980. In 2011, we decided to reprint it as a Vintage edition. This iconic book has been used, known and loved by three generations now you will find favourite birthday cakes from this book and many other books we have done over the decades.
