Résumé

Gerd Quinn is a killer. He doesn't do the job himself, mind you. He's the one in the shadows, the mysterious "third man" in every police file, the "associate" who never gets identified, while some mug is dragged down to the station. He pulls the strings, apart from that, he's not really a bad guy.

Quinn Résumé

Quinn Seamus Smyth

Quinn is an incredibly dark and fascinating thriller from Dublin - starring a modern-day Moriarty and his plans to wipe out an entire family without a hint of suspicion of foul-play.

Gerd Quinn is a killer. He doesn't do the job himself, mind you. No, he's the one in the shadows, the mysterious 'third man' in every police file. He pulls the strings, smoothes the paths and generally is an expert in welcoming his targets to the hereafter in the most convincingly 'accidental' way, possible. He's clever, devious, amoral, and ... disturbingly likeable.

Written from the first person perspective, it is both chilling, and darkly funny.

Quinn Avis

...this manuscript took over my weekend - I couldn't put it down. Quinn is one of the most unsavoury characters I have ever spent time with but what a story! It is obviously influenced by recent happenings in the crime underworld in Ireland but manages to be completely original. - Breda Purdue - Irish Sales Manager

One of the best books I've read this year. It's also one of the best Irish novels I've read ... Shiveringly superb - Image Magazine
