One Man Went to Mow Résumé

One Man Went to Mow Rose Impey

Everyone knows the childhood rhyme: One man went to mow, went to mow a meadow...well, this man takes his dog, Spot, who buries his bone - and then goes on to bury more and more outrageous items mostly borrowed bravely from the house of a nearby dog, until the dog finally retaliates and Spot has to find something else to bury...and it's just a step too far!!

One Man Went to Mow Avis

A favourite song, I'm bound to love this new version in which possibly the only dog I've ever identified with, managing to be both jaunty and harassed... buries a bone, a gnome, a trombone... and the keys to the tractor. Families Magazine Rose Impey and Chris Mould's hysterically funny rendition of One Man Went to Mow describes a child's determined naughtiness when a dog buries too many things in a field. The Times A humorous twist to a cumulative tale to which children love to add their own versions. Colourful and animated pictures capture the imagination and bring the scenes to life. Great fun.
