À propos de Roger McGough

Roger McGough is one of Britain's favourite poets. Born in Liverpool, Roger trained as a teacher, but his true calling was poetry. Over the past four decades he has published over 50 books, as well as writing for radio, film and television. He is the regular presenter of BBC Radio 4's popular Poetry Please and has also acted as stand-in presenter on Home Truths. His work for television includes recent stints as guest 'expert' on Countdown. In addition to several prestigious awards, including the Signal Poetry Award (twice), Roger received an OBE in 1997 for services to poetry. Roger McGough lives in London. Penny Dann's reputation as an illustrator has grown steadily since she graduated from the Brighton School of Art and Design. She has over thirty successful children's titles to her name including: The Secret Fairy Handbook and Stories for Bedtime (both Orchard). For Kingfisher she has illustrated the highly successful picture books What Are Friends For? What Will I Do Without You? and Will You Forgive Me? Penny Dann lives in Brighton.
