Paul Hasluck's "Saddlery" and "Harness-Marking" was originally published in 1904 and is here reprinted verbatim. Classics in their own right, Mr R. S. Whiting (Past Master of the Worshipful Company of Saddlers) writes: I commend these books for the learner who wishes to gain an insight into the trade, unaided by the mechanisation which to some extent has replaced the exclusive hand-made saddlery which Hasluck so competently described.
