Personal Computer User's Guide Nick Anis
This book aims to be a substitute for the documentation that comes with the computer, and to serve users of any personal computer. For example, the book explains what controller cards, modems, EGA cards, co-processors, communications ports and BIOS are and shows how to work with them. The first ten chapters acquaint the reader with the machine, its parts and how to set it up. Then several chapters focus on software - the operating system, BASIC, and applications packages. Thereafter, sections on disk drives and hard disks are followed by chapters on system optimization and servicing the computer.
