Crow is a tough, rootless ex-hippie drifter looking for a new start with his father, an ex-cop now a private eye living in LA. Their worlds collide after two apparent suicides and a pair of brutal sex murders plunge them into the dark underbelly of Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley where beneath the glamour and glitter is a world of sleaze and porn. Crow and Reno embark on a hunt for the killer, which brings them up against the corruption that runs through LA?s super-rich corporate inhabitants and the city?s politicians. In seeking the truth Crow and Reno discover the dark side of desire and the neon nightmare of Hollywood in this white hot Californian thriller.
