Two notable advances in nursing education that have occurred during the past decade are the rapid growth in post-basic education and the heightened awareness of the need for qualified nurses to receive adequate preparation for the teaching and assessing of students. This book has been designed as a resource tool for all those involved with the education and training of nurses, and examines the recognition of the nurse as an advocate, health advisor and health educator to patients, clients and students.
