This book is one of a range of information books focusing on the world of wild animals and their habitats. Illustrations are combined with text to produce an up-to-date natural history series that should appeal to young children. Each title in this series looks at a particular habitat and the amazing variety of wildlife within it. Approximately 35-40 animals are covered in each case. As well as basic information on each animal there are boxes on facts and records, together with notes on conservation and ecology.
