Storytime: Blast Off! Malachy Doyle

The toys have found a spaceship! Now they only need to figure out who will be the lucky one to go to space. Jim Giraffe is too tall to fit, Sally Sheep is afraid of the dark and Chickadoodle is just too little! Who will make it all the way through the countdown? Join the animals counting down from ten to one, ready for the space mission. This fun story about different animals making comparisons and contrasts with each other as they try to find the perfect candidate for space trouble is perfect for reading at bedtime with a family member or sharing in the classroom. Also includes a set of supporting notes for parents and teachers with questions to encourage discussion of the themes in the book, either at home or in the classroom.
