Karenina's Story: Sunshine After the Rain Karenina M Raffle
This was never meant to be a book. I started to write an account of my life so that my family would know some of the things that happened. It was so complicated I had to start by remembering all the addresses and various schools I had attended. I was born in Nairobi, Kenya in 1931 and my brother two years later. We had a wonderful childhood with my Mother and Father. In 1938 we came to England, leaving our house and great dane, Crocus. This is when our lives became topsy-turvy. With the Second World War, separations, death, reunions, schools and marriage. I have been able to include Family Trees, My Father's Russian ancestry, letters and photographs.
