The second section runs through the business of growing grapes and making wine. Rather than just describing the production process as an end in itself, constant reference will be made to the way apparently arcane decisions in the vineyard and winery affect the flavour of the liquid we drink.

The third section is a tour of the world's wine-producing countries and will reflect the growing importance of the New World countries in many markets.
