There are two types of paranormal case occurring in the 20th century: first, cases that are inextricably intertwined with the century's technological advances, from people who can switch on and off street-lighting at will to human interference with cars, radios and computer terminals; the second category groups occurrences which echo ancient cases with a curiously modern twist.
