The aim of this book is to allow every novice survivalist and outdoors hobbyist to further his/her expertise safely without recourse to group participation. The tens of thousands who have come to the sport/hobby of survival, and those who are joining them weekly, usually find they can only advance their survival skills by joining a club or group event. This book demonstrates that, given due attention to law, safety and equipment, the individual can set himself/herself a challenge which can be genuine, exciting and rewarding. The author takes the reader on such a challenge, over several days, where the problems of the individual survivalist are deliberately encountered and solved.
