Other People's Gardens Résumé

Other People's Gardens Christopher Lloyd

Christopher Lloyd, Britain's most famous garden writer and the owner of one of Britain's most visited gardens at Great Dixter, has always enjoyed spending a great part of the year travelling around Great Britain, Australia and America visiting other people's gardens. Some of these gardens are written up in his weekly column for Country Life, and in this book the gardens range from specializing in botanical specimens to simple yet beautifully planned gardens. Gardens with rivers, gardens with wildernesses, gardens with statuary, gardens on the mild western coast of England and Scotland, gardens in very dry terrain in Australia and gardens in the USA are all covered.
