Soccer Injuries Résumé

Soccer Injuries: Their Causes, Prevention and Treatment Bob O'Connor

This book discusses the injuries incurred in soccer, how to prevent or reduce their incidence and how to treat them. It covers all the injuries that a soccer player at any level is likely to experience. Research from around the world indicates how many athletic injuries can be prevented by: proper physical examinations, effective condition, better equipment, better care of field equipment and pitches, and even through rule changes and more efficient officiating. The authors discuss the current thinking on both injury prevention and player rehabilitation, and describe how to diagnose injuries and provide effective first aid and treatment.
