This is a bind-up of "Floating and Sinking", "Machines and Movement", "Sound and Music" and "Shadows and Reflections". Each section explores a different area of the National Science Curriculum at Key Stage 2, and contains practical experiments, using everyday household objects, which children can perform at home or at school. They are encouraged to discover basic scientific ideas for themselves and to see how these ideas operate in the world around them.
