Mild cracking to hinges, slightly exposing binding thread. Pages throughout and boards remain firmly attached. Noticeable tanning and foxing throughout. More pronounced towards the start and end of the book. Noticeable brown marks to rear endpaper and last few pages. Burn marks to pages 343-358 and 285. Text remains legible. Occasional dog-eared corners. Red speckled text block with small brown marks to top. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Loss to spine top edge and corners with noticeable scuffing. Noticeable splits to joints, boards remain firmly attached. Visible scuffing to boards with areas of loss to paper covering boards. Leather peeling spine and edges with noticeable markings and scratches. Book is slightly bowed and forward leaning.
