Red cloth coated pastedowns and endpapers. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed throughout. Occasional thumb-marking present, darker thumb-marking to first few pages. Previous owner's inscription to front endpaper. Binding remains firm. Brown marks to reverse side of free endpapers. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Leather peeling to edges and along spine, with scuffing and scratches overall. Slight rubbing to title to front board, with gilt lettering remaining bright. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Slight loss to top of spine strip. Stained mark to front board.
