Moderate cracking to gutters with exposed netting, pages remain attached. Pages are lightly tanned throughout, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Illustrations and diagrams are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Sticker to front pastedown. Edges of text block dyed red with slight staining to top edge of some pages, text remains unaffected. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Heavy crushing to spine ends causing fraying to cloth and splits to spine. Heavy wear marks overall. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
