Pages with some foxing and tanning, particularly to endpapers and textblock edges. Cracking to front hinge with netting exposed. Binding loose. Minor pencil inscriptions to front free endpaper. Tissue guard with small tear and detaching. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and heavy tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces heavily tanned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front. Book has slight forward lean.
