1961. First Edition. 170 pages. Red and pink illustrated dust jacket over red cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed, heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Cracking to gutter between pages 96 and 97, with exposed netting. Front hinge is cracked with exposed netting. Binding is slightly shaky, however pages remain attached. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have mild edge-wear with bumping to corners. Visible crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Clipped jacket has moderate edge wear with chips, tears and creasing. Some rubbed marking visible to rear panel. Mild tanning to spine and edges.
