1898. No Edition Remarks. 358 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Heavier tanning to rear free endpaper, pastedowns and half title page. Half title page is very loose. Thumb-marking present. Grubby pages throughout. Notable creasing to gutter. Cracking to front hinge and gutters, leaving netting exposed. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Notable tanning to spine and edges. Black and white marks overall. Textblock is shaky.
