The main purpose of this book is to increase the awareness of interested laymen of the considerable potential for reducing cancer mortality by relatively simple measures. There are three principal points: avoiding risk factors; making use of early diagnostic methods; and management of established cancers. This book is an attempt to remove some of the doubts most of us have about this taboo subject.
