About Nick Ward
Nick Ward developed his interest in drawing and book illustration in particular, while still at primary school, and later obtained a B.A. (Hons) in Graphic Design. He has had numerous picture books published, including Gran in Space (1992), Shadowland (1993). Don't Worry, Grandpa (1994), Don't Eat The Teacher (1998) and A Word in a Pig's Ear (1999). He lives in Buckinghamshire. The Farmer George series are his first books published by Pavilion.
