About L. M. Montgomery

Mary Henley Rubio is University Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Guelph. She is the author, along with Elizabeth Waterston, of Writing a Life: L.M. Montgomery and editor, again with Elizabeth Waterston, of Oxford University Press' multi-volume The Selected Journals of L.M. Montgomery. She is the author of the definitive biography of L. M. Montgomery, Lucy Maud Montgomery: The Gift of Wings, editor of Harvesting Thistles: The Textual Garden of L.M. Montgomery and co-editor, with Glenys Stow, of KANATA: An Anthology of Canadian Children's Literature. Elizabeth Waterston is University Professor Emeritus of English at the University of Guelph. She is the co-author of Writing a Life: L.M. Montgomery and co-editor of the multi-volume The Selected Journals of L.M. Montgomery. She is also author of Magic Island: The Fictions of L. M. Montgomery, Rapt in Plaid: Canadian Literature and Scottish Tradition, and editor of Children's Literature in Canada.
