The island could be anywhere in the world, but it most closely resembles Scotland. This is the first of four Ellie Adventures, richly illustrated chapter books for young readers, in which there are comforting reminders about love and friendship, and discovering what it means to have all you need. The final section of the book Over to You is designed for children to open up about their own troubles, inspiring them through leading questions (and giving space to answer them) to reflect on their own resources and build resilience.
