Effective Sentences uses high-interest readings, useful vocabulary, and straightforward grammar to teach sentence writing. Effective Sentences works in two parts: first, students learn to recognize basic sentence structure and closely examine the basic elements to take the mystery out of the English sentence. The students then build on this, progressing from simple sentence elements like adjectives and objects to compound and complex sentence structures.
