About Drew Karpyshyn

Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Drew Karpyshyn now lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and family. He worked for many years as a writer for game company Bio Ware, contributing to a number of games, including the Baldur's Gate series, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Jade Empire, Mass Effect and Star Wars: The Old Republic.

His tie-in novels for the Star Wars and Mass Effect games have enjoyed huge success, and he is now focusing on writing full time and golfing.
