Arctic Peoples Summary

Arctic Peoples: What Life Was Like in the Most Northerly Reaches of the Earth by Dr Jen Green

Step back in time and travel to the most northerly reaches of the Earth - the Arctic. Fact-filled pages look at the many different Arctic peoples, their origins, how they survived in a harsh environment, and how their descendants live today. Practical projects help bring the past alive - build a model igloo to keep the chilly north-westerley winds, make a traditional Saami hat, or creating a hunting bird.
