Lucky Luke 51 - The Painter Summary

Lucky Luke 51 - The Painter by Bob De Groot

Among the cultural figures of the Old West, Frederick Remington stands head and shoulders above the rest-literally. A good-natured ogre by size and appetite, the artist portrays the West with such skill that the American government entrusts his safety to Lucky Luke. Looking after such a national treasure is not usually an easy task, but Luke will soon discover that Remington hardly needs protecting-except maybe from his own excessive impulses...

About Bob De Groot

Born and raised in Belgium, Morris moved to the United States in 1946 for six years. There, he worked for MAD magazine and met Rene Goscinny. After Goscinny's death, several other writers contributed to Lucky Luke, including Bob de Groot, the well-known writer of such very successful humorous series as Robin Dubois, Leonard and Clifton, the latter published in English by Cinebook.
