Pages remain bright and clear with minimal tanning and foxing. Heavier tanning to front and rear free endpapers and pastedowns. Previous owner's inscription to front free endpaper and title page. Thumb-marking present. Slight cracking to front hinge. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Notable crushing to spine ends. Visible sunning to spine and edges. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Water staining to all. Black spotting to front board. Textblock is shaky. Book has a slight forward lean.
