Black and white illustrations by by J E Laboureur throughout. Slight cracking to gutters causing binding to be loose, however pages remain attached. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Illustrations are bright and clear, with some light tanning and foxing to edges. Pencil inscriptions to endpapers and pastedowns. Occasional heavier foxing. 'Presentation Copy' blind stamped to title page, with some dark foxing. Small pencil mark to margin of p1. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Slight peeling and loss to corners. Light tanning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Water staining to rear board edge and pastedown.
