Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Slightly more pronounced to endpapers and pastedowns. Cracks to guttering, slightly exposing netting. Binding remains firm. Plate facing page 180 is detached but still present. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Spine is moderately tanned, with mild crushing to ends. Gilt remains bright. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with visible marking to rear board. Book has a noticeable forward lean.
