Eleven-year-old Barrie doesn't want to grow up. His parents and older sister always seem to be stressed, and being an adult doesn't look like much fun.

When he discovers a rusty old hook in the maritime museum, with a note promising that the owner will never grow up, he takes it and slowly realises his wish has been granted.

But Captain Hook, the most dangerous and bloodthirsty pirate in history, wants his hook back. And he won't stop until he has his revenge on Barrie for taking it.
