Emma is really looking forward to the special 'pony' scavenger hunt that has been organised for her friend's birthday party. Her Shetland pony, Sheltie, is so clever, they are bound to win. But a mist comes down quickly, cutting off Joanna, one of the riders, on the moor. Emma knows that help is needed fast and it's lucky for everyone that she and Sheltie have a plan. Sure-footed Sheltie soon leads everyone to safety.
