Events Management Bewertungen

Both leisure and business tourism today are increasingly about events. International event management is steered by the same trends as tourism such as sustainability and social media. Through theory, case studies, and interactive learning resources, this book gives students and professionals the tools they need to tackle the challenges of event management.

-- Jarmo Ritalahti
The best undergraduate text book about events management on the market. The breadth and comprehensive coverage of events management from an international perspective is the major strength of this book. As a student, the chapters are easy to follow, cover the key concepts, purposeful and insightful. The mini case studies throughout the book help the students apply theory in context. The chapters conclude with discussion questions which will be great for tutorials. And finally, the book is supported by a comprehensive website as a learning board for teachers. From a pedagogical perspective, you couldn't have asked the editors and contributors to do anything else. -- Dr Ian Yeoman
