This book gives instructions on the making of 50 different small-scale items, including animals, mascots and games, set out with simple patterns and methods to be used. The toys are economical and easy to make. Over a hundred full-scale patterns are provided that can be traced off the page with detailed photographs of each toy. None of the materials needed are expensive, as oddments of fabric, together with card, pipecleaners, beads and elastic can be used. The author has written many other books on craft making including Making a Victorian Doll's House, Dolls in National and Folk Costume and Making Musical Miniatures.
