This self-assessment book has been written to augment "Emergency Care: A Textbook for Paramedics" from the same author team. The book consists of 21 "papers", 20 of which are keyed into Emergency Care and test principles described in specific chapters of the textbook. The final paper is a general test from across the book. Each individual paper contains questions in a variety of common formats: MCQs, short answer questions, picture tests and case histories. Full answers immediately follow each paper, allowing the reader to either work systematically through as they read the textbook, or focus on particular topics.
