Gripping, informative and well-paced * Independent *
I would class this book with the first-rate achievements of Graham Greene, Charles McCarry and Le Carre * Chicago Tribune *
Combines the landscapes and rugged manhunts of Geoffrey Household with the dispassionate sniper's eye of Eric Ambler * The Times *
Gives the many-sided suspense story such a wealth of factual detail, it is in the same class as Frederick Forsyth's best * Daily Mail *
