AUTHOR: William Wondriska LOCATION: Connecticut Bio: William Wondriska founded Wondriska Associates in 1961, and became known for developing the image and marketing for such clients as United Technologies Corporation, John Wiley and Sons, Travelers Corp., Walt Disney, The National Science Center, Junior Library Guild, and Children's Television Workshop. Early in his career, he wrote and illustrated eleven well-received children's books: The Sound of Things, 123 a Book to See, Puff, Which Way to the Zoo?, A Long Piece of String, All By Myself, The Tomato Patch, John John Terwillinger, Mr. Brown and Mr. Gray, All the Animals Were Angry, The Stop. Wondriska later became Senior Critic in Design at Yale, and is the recipient of several national and international design awards.
