Stephanie Morgan lives in what she considers to be the best village in West Sussex with Alfie, her chocolate Labrador. Traveller, gardener, painter and active villager, her book charts her journey as a child growing up during the Second World War, to her experiences and travels as the wife of a naval Captain, and later as a Macmillan nurse. Stephanie discovered writing rather late and is now hooked.
