Lee Weatherly was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, and now lives in Hampshire with her husband Pete and a large cat called Bernard. She has more books than she can count. Lee writes children's fiction for all different ages, but especially loves stories about magic. Lee won the Sheffield Children's Book Award in 2003 for her novel Child X. Algy Craig Hall earned a degree in Economics and Politics from Warwick University and followed this ten years later with an MA in Children's Book Illustration. When Algy is not illustrating he works as a financial journalist for the Investors Chronicle. He lives in London with his partner and their young daughter.
