Ellen Ogden is co-founder of The Cook's Garden, America's premier seed company specializing in vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers, now owned by the Burpee seed catalog. She is the author of From the Cook's Garden, published by Harper Collins in 2003 and the Vermont Cheese Book released in July 2007 by Countryman Press. Ellen has written hundreds of food and garden articles for numerous national publications including Country Living, Organic Gardening, Eating Well, Better Homes and Gardens, The Boston Globe and the Herb Companion. Ellen lives in Manchester Village, Vermont.
