Corsair Down is a thoroughly enjoyable book. It is original, well written, entertaining, and easy to read. The excellent research plus the diagrams, maps, and little cartoons are very good and really useful for the reader. The book provides a different perspective on the F4U [Corsair]. The stories are great though the POW stories are horrific.
