Tim Padfield MA LLM has worked at The National Archives (formerly the Public Record Office), for over thirty years. He is a specialist in copyright, with particular reference to unpublished materials. He has a postgraduate law degree, with merit, is chair of the Libraries and Archives Copyright Alliance and adviser on copyright to the Society of Archivists.
