Books by Richard Kirkby

Richard Kirkby was born into a Yorkshire farming family with strong Chinese antecedents. In the early 1970's, he spread his wings to Cultural Revolution China where he worked at Nanjing and later Shandong University. Since 1980, he has been a consultant on Chinese economy, a director of a China business enterprise, a writer of academic tracts, and a broadcaster. Richard Kirkby lives now in his home territory of the Lake District. He is married to the museologist Louise Tythacott.
